After reports broke some days ago about Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa agreeing to move to Premier League side Chelsea, the Spaniard took to his official instagram account to confirm the news.
Sky Sources broke the news around some days ago and confirmed that a £32million deal was in place for the Brazilian-born striker to move to Stamford Bridge ahead of the World Cup, where he has decided to represent Spain rather than his homeland.
It's believes an official announcement between the two clubs will be made early June, before the Summer tournament, but after Costa posted the below message on his official instagram account, it seems that a deal is already completed.
He wrote: "Thanks Atletico Madrid for everything!!! My first club and biggest love!! Now is time to move on to Chelsea fc."
Crazier things have happened in football. After the world cup, he might not end up at chelsea.
