Mexico's soccer coach prohibits players from having sex during World Cup

The only kind of scoring Mexicowill be allowed to do at the World Cupinvolves a net. Mexico's head coach Miguel Herrerahas put a ban on sexual intercourse (and booze) when the team stays in Brazilfor the international tournament. Yes, Herrera's all about business and no screwing around of any kind will be tolerated. “If a player can not endure a month or 20 days without having intercourse, then you are not prepared to be a professional,” Herrera told Mexican newspaper Reforma. “Let’s play a World Cup, we’re not going to a party.” Mexico needed a last ditch playoff win against New Zealandduring qualifying to even punch its ticket to South America. So it's easy to see why Herrera is taking such a strict approach to off-pitch behavior this time around. Furthermore, the Mexico squad has ironically had trouble scoring lately, netting just seven goals in 10 games during the final roundof qualifying. Via The Big Lead
