Japanese pro soccer team fills stadium seats with cardboard fans (Photos)

A Japanese pro soccer team chose a curious way of getting more fans in the seats for their home games by resorting to creating cardboard cutout fans. Omiya Ardija, which plays in J-League Division One, the top division of the Japan Professional Soccer League, found themselves having trouble drawing fans to the game. Granted that large number of empty seats might not be appealing, but putting cardboard fans in the empty seats just seems a bit sad. Take a look for yourself: This is a creative idea, but i hope the Nigerian professional football league never gets this bad. Lol
