Steven Gerrard relaxes on beach with daughters after England's poor World Cup

Steven Gerrard put the stresses and strains of England's miserable World Cup campaign behind him as he relaxed on the beach with his daughters. Just 48 hours after Roy Hodgson's side touched down in Luton having crashed to an early World Cup exit, the England captain was on holiday with two of his girls. The 34-year-old is still to confirm whether he will continue playing international football or retire to focus on prolonging his club career. Gerrard will be 36 when the next major international tournament, Euro 2016, takes place in France. The midfielder will now focus on resting up and preparing for the new season with his Liverpool side. During pre-season, Brendan Rodgers' men will travel to the Danish side Brondby, tour the United States, and host Borussia Dortmund in a friendly at Anfield on August 10.
